I loved the article. I mildly disagree with vacation, but even there what I really defend is real travelling, rather than stupid idle sitting in a fake resort.
You have been looking for that elusive example of actual wisdom, and I would like to tentatively propose this:
being aware that wisdom cannot be easily summarized into rules, and realizing that reality is often complex, it defies definitions and simplifications, doesn't want to be summarized, it abhors ceremonies, it requires to be flexible and open... and, of course, that the 5 things that you mention are stupid ;)
